Forging dies, preventively provided with heat-resistant material by plasma transferred arc (PTA)

The combination of high temperatures and pressures meant that the original heat-resistant base materials did not achieve the desired tool life. PTA cladding was used to provide these parts with a heat-resistant and pressure-resistant layer to improve tool life.
